We're looking for an experienced Security Technician to join our team in Auckland. This position is permanent full-time (minimum 40 hours per week). 

What You'll Do

  • Install, program, test, and maintain Security, Access Control, Automation, and MATV systems
  • Deliver electronic security installations across commercial, industrial, and residential sites
  • Ensure all installations comply with relevant legislation, industry standards, and company procedures
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and system upgrades
  • Manage projects from planning through to completion, ensuring delivery within time and budget
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for completed works
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by delivering high-quality technical support. 

What We're Looking For

  • Relevant trade qualification in Electrical, Electronic Security, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working with Security, Access Control, Automation, and MATV systems
  • Gallagher Access Technician certification
  • Current PSPLA Certificate of Approval (ST) Security Technician
  • Proven experience in installation and maintenance of electronic security systems including Mag locks, Mortice locks, Strike locks, V Bolt locks, Card readers, Request to exit and Emergency exit devices.
  • Strong technical knowledge of industry systems and programming requirements
  • Sound knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements
  • Commitment to support safe work practices
  • Ability to manage projects independently from concept to completion
  • Strong organisational, planning, and communication skills
  • Customer-focused with professional client engagement skills.
